The Balatonfűzfő local group of the Hungarian Astronomical Association and the Balaton Observatory have been popularizing astronomy for decades through spectacular telescope observations, educational lectures, and family-friendly programs. The modern observatory, reopened in 2022, along with the “Cosmic Journey” experience program, offers an exciting and easy-to-understand way for children and adults alike to explore the wonders of the night sky and the universe all year round.
