Flava Beach at Kopaszi-gát is Budapest's only official sandy beach on the Danube, offering a safe place for swimming with lifeguard supervision. Playgrounds, riverside promenades and several restaurants are all nearby, making it easy to spend a full day here with the family. Please note that the water becomes deep relatively quickly near the shore, and warning signs are posted, so young children should be closely supervised.
