Royal Palace of Gödöllő
Gödöllő, Grassalkovich-kastély 5852, 2100
The Gödöllői Royal Palace is one of Hungary’s largest Baroque palaces, built in the 18th century by order of Antal Grassalkovich, and later served as a summer residence for the royal family, including Emperor Franz Joseph and Empress Elisabeth (Sisi). Its restored royal apartments and historical exhibitions offer an engaging insight into the life of the Habsburg court, while children are also welcomed with museum education programs and guided tours enriched with playful, hands-on activities.
