Lillafüred Waterfall

The Lillafüred Waterfall is located next to the Hanging Gardens of the Palace Hotel and, at approximately 20 metres high, is Hungary’s tallest vertical waterfall. The Szinva Stream was redirected to this section during the construction of the hotel, making the waterfall artificial. Visitors can admire it from the stepped walkways of the Hanging Gardens, and during freezing winter weather, the waterfall can spectacularly freeze over.
