Pörböly Titan

The Pörböly Titan is one of the best-known sights of the Gemenc forest, a massive black poplar tree around 100 years old, standing by the Móricz-Danube. With a trunk circumference of over 12 meters, it is one of Hungary’s most remarkable trees, formed from multiple merged trunks. The nature walk can be a great experience for families with children, though the sandy and root-filled terrain is difficult with a regular stroller.
