Esterházy Castle in Tata offers interactive exhibitions, historic state rooms, and authentically furnished period interiors that provide an engaging insight into the life of the Esterházy family. At the end of the exhibition, children can discover two playful, history-focused installations: a detailed miniature model of the castle (the “dollhouse room”) and a diorama with lead soldiers depicting a scene from Tata’s military history. Located directly on the shore of Lake Öreg, the castle is an especially great family program in the heart of Tata.
